I am happy to say, that I have found a new home for Minik! She and a few of the other cats moved to a lovely woman, who has a beautiful secured garden with several cat houses. Minik is not yet neutered, but the male cts who live there are. We plan to do her neutering in the future. The woman who took her has agreed to give these cats a place to live, but if they get sick or otherwise need veterinary treatment, I will still cover it. Minik was a bit shy and hid at first, but the lady said she eventually came out to play with the other cats. She wil send me photos/ videos of her in the new place, that I will upload here as well.

Minik is in excellent health, but I still haven't found a home. Finding one in Türkiye is very difficult, and since she's never been outside, she can't be left out. She still lives with me. I still haven't been able to have her neutered because I'm in a very difficult financial situation. I think she also might have a developmental delay, she hasn't gone into heat yet, despite being 8 months old.
Surgery ₺ 4,500.00 (89.64 €) If I am able to get a discount, the neutering surgery would cost 4.500 tl

She was brought back from her new home under a ridiculous pretext. She now continues to live with me. She's doing well. I'm still looking for a good family, who will keep her,

I still haven't found a home. He continues to live with me. He is too young to be neutered, I am doing my best to find him a home, but since he is a Tabby, the chances are slim.

Since it was so small and should have still been nursed by her mother, she needed to get powdered milk for a while. Her eye infection was treated with eye drops. She was discharged when she started eating dry food and wet food. Her treatment was completed and her eyesight improved. She now lives with me and I will find her a home. If I can't find a home, she will be neutered while staying with me.

Eye Infection
The two kittens were found on a school yard. There was no mother to be seen around. They were very small and sick, so I took them for treatment.
The smaller, weaker one could not live. This kitten resisted.
She had to be bottle fed and had an eye infection that was treated with eye drops. She got better and lived with me for a while, while I was looking for a home for her.
I found a new home for Minik in July 2025, but she was brought back under a ridiculous pretext in September. I took her in again and continued to look for a god home for her. She has found a new home again in December 2025 with a lovely woman who already has several cats. It is very difficult to rehome a cat within Tureky, so we agreed that if Minik needs veterinary care, I will still cover it.
Minik also still needs to be neutered. She was still too young when she was rehomed (the vets here ususally recommend neutering after 12 months).
My name is Birben. I live in Ankara and have been trying to rescue and treat stray cats since 2014. Except for Oreo and Macaron, all my cats at home are spayed or neutered. I also try to treat and spay or neuter stray cats as much as I can. I feed cats in three different locations in my neighborhood. There are a total of 20-25 cats. I've tried to find homes for the healthy ones, but it's very difficult, or perhaps due to the situation in Türkiye, I don't give them away unless I'm completely sure. Many people in my neighborhood either inform me or leave sick or healthy cats in my garden. Therefore, including the stray cats and the care at home, we consume an average of 78 kg of cat food and 30 cans of cat litter per month. And I owe a total of 9000 euros to two veterinary clinics. The hardest part is the accumulated debt I can't pay and the fact that I can't reduce the amount of food I consume daily (2 kg) because I haven't been able to find homes for them. These two things are interconnected. Because my veterinary debt is so high, it's very difficult to cover the food costs. Because so much food and litter is consumed, I can only afford to pay very little to the clinic. I'm only trying to get support through Instagram, but I'm not getting as much support as before.
