Kirli was discharged on May 28th. He has been treated successfully and is in good condition now. I first brought him into the empty apartment next door, he is healthy and now lives in the garden. He goes to the park nearby from time to time, then he comes back to the garden.

Treatment from 2026-04-20
He could not have surgery for a long time due to a dirty infection in his leg and low blood values. First, the infection was brought under control with treatment. When the blood values got better, a skin transplant was performed in February. It was a very difficult surgery, it was successful initially, but about 2 weeks later, when everything was getting better, infection started from the surgical site, stitches were coming out, so the skin did not adapt, now open wound care treatment is still underway in the Anatolian veterinary clinic.

I took him to the clinic urgently, where he was examined. He had a serious infection, his teeth were decayed, and his palate was damaged. Tests were done, and then his treatment began.
Kirki’s body temperature had dropped—he was suffering from hypothermia—so he was immediately taken into intensive care. After spending one week in intensive care, laser treatment was started for his wound. He slowly began to recover, but his blood values have not improved yet. Once they do, he will undergo surgery: the decayed teeth will be removed, and for his leg, if there is no sufficient response to laser therapy, a skin graft will be performed.

Hello, first of all I want to tell you about myself and the work I do. My name is Meral, I live in Istanbul, I love animals very much. I have been studying Animal Protection with my daughter in Turkey for 4 years and have issued an employee card. We provide home supervision care for animals trying to live unattended on the street under difficult conditions for a short period of time after feeding, vaccination, neutering and care. Those who are sick and cannot receive treatment at home, we have them admitted to the clinic and treated. Of course, there is treatment in free animal rehabilitation centers in Turkey, but they die because there is not enough medical device care. For this reason, we prefer private veterinarians. Because they, like every living thing, have the right to live in a healthy, peaceful, happy environment, and I am doing my best for this. Over a long period of time, we neutered hundreds of cats, had them treated and found a home.
We have rescued 18 cats from the fatal FIP disease,we have worked with our strength, 6 of them are disabled cats in need of care in my house. We need your help for sterilizations, food, medical supplies and vaccines for cats who are on the street and at home. If you donate for them, we will be stronger and can save more animals.
