Treatment from 2026-01-15
Duman’s treatment will end on January 16, and he will be discharged. A final test will be performed before discharge, and when the results are okay, he will be released. Since there is no other place for him to go besides my garden, I will continue to take care of him there. The veterinarian did not provide any specific information about the period afterward; a course of action will be determined entirely based on the progression of Duman’s health condition. Duman is also being given the same capsules that Oğluş uses.
Treatment from 2025-06-11
In June, I noticed that Duman, one of the cats I care for in my garden, was weak and lethargic, so I took him to the veterinarian. Tests were performed, and he was diagnosed with FIP. Since he is one of the cats I feed in my garden, I provided his medication and we continued the treatment in this way. He appeared to have recovered for about two months, but then I found him weak and feverish again and took him back to the veterinarian. He has been receiving treatment at the clinic since October 23 and will be discharged once the 80-day course is completed. Treatment with multivitamin capsules has been restarted. There is not enough money available for me to get the GS medication, but another cat of ours (Çiçek), who was also said to have FIP, was able to recover with this treatment regime, so we try it again.

We started in 2010. In those years, we saved and fed countless lives with our own money. When our conditions got harder, I had to open the instagram page in 2019. Our first cat is 14 years old, the second is 13, the other two siblings are 8 years old. There are 4 of them, but we have treated and fed so many that I can't even count them. We still continue to feed, treat and neuter in my neighborhood and urban transformation area as far as I can see.
