We’ve successfully met our goal for dry and wet food for our upcoming feeding day! Thank you all so much for your incredible support. The feeding day is planned for January 11th, 2025. In the meantime, would you be willing to help us start another campaign to provide cat vitamins, immune modulators, cat malt, and internal/external parasite treatments for our furry friends? Here’s some information about the estimated costs: Some brands of internal/external parasite medications have the same active ingredients for both cats and dogs. With guidance from our veterinarian on the proper dosage, we can treat dozens of cats using just one box of dog medication instead of buying multiple boxes of cat-specific ones. This method is much more cost-effective, reducing the cost to just 10% of what we’d normally spend. For example, we can buy 1 box of Advantage Multi internal/external parasite medication for ₺1,600 (approximately €40), which is enough to treat about 30 cats. We can also purchase 3 vitamin-enriched cat malt tubes for ₺250 each (approximately €7), totaling ₺750 (€21). To boost their immunity, we can get Gamavit, an immune modulator, for ₺600 (€16), which is sufficient for 30 cats weighing around 3 kg each. Since many of the cats are malnourished, it’s likely they are anemic too. Unfortunately, blood-support medications sold at veterinary clinics are expensive, costing at least ₺600 (€17). Due to our limited budget, we are not including this for now, but we may add it later if the situation requires. In total, we need €77 to cover these all expenses.
