Update Joker is healed but half of chin, mouth and teeth are missing. He is neutered and had rabies vaccine too. He recieves dewormer and flea drops regularly. He is looking for adoption ,he loves to get cuddles and loves to snuggle on your lap, too. He is friendly with other cats. We have no experience with dogs. He is a hunter, even despite his mouth. He is a loving short white haired cat with tabby dots.

Diagnosis
Infection ❓ Unknown
Joker was initially found at the end of march with a severe gum infection and part of his mouth missing. He was treated for calici virus at the clinic for over a month and initially recovered well. Now he presented with fever and did not eat or drink either. He slept all day, which is why he was brought to the vet.
I am Ayse. I live in Izmir and have started rescuing cats from the street in 1991. The first cat I rescued is Toygar. I found him with a broken leg and brougth him to the vet. Over the years, I have helped by treating and neutering more cats than I can count. In the winter, fewer people care for the strays, so at times, I even take care of 50+ cats and some dogs. I feed the stray cats in my area and usually have between 12-15 cats living at my place. I always try to find good homes for cats, that have been treated successfully and have even found homes for some of them in Germany. In addition to the cats living with me, many strays come visit my house and garden every day. Nowadways, getting the cats to the clinic and covering the treatment cost is very difficult. I don't have a car and the clinic fees are very high. I try to get support through instagram and facebook, to continue rescuing cats in need.
