UPDATE: Despite of our very best efforts, she had a severe nerve damage. We insisted on physical therapy, maybe we could see a miracle again however we couldn't make any progress. Her arm is amputated. She was adopted, so she now has a nice warm house after her treatment is over. We are not fundraising for her anymore because all the remaining expenses are covered by an anonmyous local sponsor, thanks.
Physical Therapy
(It will be based on how Luna responds. Now we started with ultrasound and they will add laser and other treatments later. Its not easy to say how many sessions Luna needs but they guess Luna will need around 20-30 sessions. And each session costs €60.
EMG
Her whole right arm is completely paralyzed. And she has loss of sensation in her arm, she cannot feel the needle being inserted. There is no EMG in Bursa, we have to go to Istanbul for that asap. For pet transportation fee we will need €65 and I still couldnt get a price for EMG tests, Im still searching.
Medications
For nerve repair, they advised us to use B complex vitamins and omega 3. I will get vet expert neuro support first. It costs €40
Hospitalization
There wont be any hospitalization fee because one of my friend is covering this part. 🥰🥰

Her whole arm is paralyzed, it might have been stuck somewhere, we don’t know what exactly happened to her. There is severe nerve damage.
I talked with many experts for Luna and most of them were hopeless and offered to amputate the whole arm. I insisted on trying physical therapy first.
Physical therapy started in Bursa (where I live) however vets advised us to go to Istanbul for more tests and better experts. They recommended Ates Barut, he is the most famous vet specialized in nerve system. And his examination fee is €90.
At this point I can only give price for physical therapy it costs €60 per session however we dont know how many session we need 10-20-30 maybe. Let’s assume it will take 20 sessions.
Additionally they recommend to perform an EMG test however it doesn’t exist in Bursa. Im still searching the options in Istanbul. When I learn more I will share more.

Our story started with Yasam. One day in my garden I saw a very sick cat alone and was waiting for death. Vets couldn’t understand the dry FIP until the ocular signs started. As a university student and with a very limited budget it was impossible for me to cover the whole treatment. I started the instagram page. And after rescuing Yasam from FIP. I got very happy and decided to rescue the other cats too.
After Yasam, we made numerous treatments and operations some of them are: diapraghm, pyometra and sterilization; parasite/viral/bacterial infections, cancer, more FIP treatment. open wound treatments etc…
I’ve been keep rescuing animals for more than a year and we are receiving very little support. Our current debt to vet clinics are around €2000 and they really don’t accept any more debt.
