Treatment from 2025-01-02
-Since Mr. Russian Blue had no appetite, our vet planned a 3-day serum treatment (the serum contains B&C vitamins and N-acetylcysteine). -For his anemia, he was given a B1-6-12 injections, and they also prescribed blood-boosting medication for us to continue at home. -Since his digestive system wasn’t doing well, they recommended a prescription gastro cat food. Here’s the summary of the costs: - 3-day serum treatment: €17 x 3 = €51 -Blood-boosting medications: €30 -Hemogram test: €25 x 2 = €50 -Prescription gastro food: €35 -Examination, B1-6-12 injections, and antibiotics: €0 -Immunosupporters (since his WBC value is at the lower limit): €0 (we had already purchased them) -Internal and external parasite treatment: €0 (I used the remaining meds I had) -Pet taxi and pharmacy: €0 (These were on me 🥰) Total: €166

Diagnosis
Infection ✅ Confirmed
Other Gingivitis, respiratory tract infection, conjunctivitis, swollen lymph nodes
I found this sweet 6-month-old purebred kitten in my garden. When I went over to say hello, it seemed really sick. I tried giving it some treat cream, but it had no appetite and didn’t eat. Its mouth smelled terrible, and its eyes were inflamed with discharge.

I took the kitten to the vet for an examination and some tests. The vet diagnosed gingivitis (a gum infection), swollen lymph nodes, a respiratory infection, and eye issues. The kitten also had mild tachycardia. Since his mouth looked very pale, I asked for a CBC test, and as I suspected, he was anemic and severely malnourished.

The treatment has started, and he is already showing signs of improvement. Once he is fully recovered, I plan to find it a loving home. I really hope it ends up with a wonderful family 🥰💫
Our story started with Yasam. One day in my garden I saw a very sick cat alone and was waiting for death. Vets couldn’t understand the dry FIP until the ocular signs started. As a university student and with a very limited budget it was impossible for me to cover the whole treatment. I started the instagram page. And after rescuing Yasam from FIP. I got very happy and decided to rescue the other cats too.

After Yasam, we made numerous treatments and operations some of them are: diapraghm, pyometra and sterilization; parasite/viral/bacterial infections, cancer, more FIP treatment. open wound treatments etc…

I’ve been keep rescuing animals for more than a year and we are receiving very little support. Our current debt to vet clinics are around €2000 and they really don’t accept any more debt. My hands are tied now. You can see everything at yasam_animalrescue instagram page. Everything is transparent, Im sharing the bills all the time and sharing the before after things.

If you want to support us, you can directly pay to our vet clinic too. The cats I am taking care of needs support…
