Treatment from 2026-07-03
Arven has had problems again and was diagnosed with an intestinal blockage. I brought her to the vet and she wa admitted on 24th of June, She is currently receiving medication in the hope of resolving the blockage. So far, no decision has been made about surgery. Blood count and X-rays were done (with and without oral contrast).
Her blood count (CBC) shows that some of her values are low. Her immune system is weakened, and she also has an infection.
Today, she will have an ultrasound examination and blood biochemistry tests. I will keep you updated and share the results as soon as I receive them.
Treatment for the bowel obstruction has also begun.

I am a local animal protection officer in my province. I have 14 cats at home. 3 of them have FIP and are under observation. 2 of my cats have chronic urinary tract disease. All my other cats have had diseases in the past and are unable to live on the street and are under protection at home. There are 30 fixed cats that I feed and treat on the street. I help many cats in need.
