Arda had been receiving treatment at Armilla Veterinary Clinic since January, intermittently. Because he was 12 years old, he didn't respond to antibiotics and IV fluids. Finally, Dr. Ersin at Armilla Veterinary Clinic recommended surgery, but due to his age, the risk associated with surgery was high, so I got information from 3 different clinics. In the end, a specialist surgeon performed the sinus surgery at Petzilla Veterinary Clinic. Thankfully, the treatment was successful. 🙏🍀😻There was a mass the size of a hazelnut above his left eye. He had surgery there. But sinusitis caused the nasal bones to erode. 😔nasal bones were removed

I took Arda to the emergency veterinary clinic because he was sneezing, had a fever, was lethargic, vomiting, and wasn't eating. He had a high level of infection in his blood, and being an elderly cat, he also has many chronic illnesses. Treatment was initiated with daily intravenous fluid therapy, antibiotics, and vitamin supplements.

I found Arda on the street 11 years ago when he was a kitten. He developed FIP (wet form) and was treated in the beginning of 2022. He eats special stomach and allergy food. He was also diagnosed with FIV and stomatitis. He has a chronic runny and stuffy nose, his teeth were extracted but his mouth still runs from time to time. He takes stomach protectors, ASBRIP (for upper respiratory tract and FIV), Neoral (for stomatitis). He also needs to go to regular check-ups and get checked every 3 months.
Since 2014, I have been working with my own means, I have fed stray cats, treated them and found warm homes for them. but last year I was treated for cancer, Since I am not able to work anymore, I created an instagram page to collect donations, so that I can keep helping the stray cats. Even when I was being treated for cancer, I helped 5 fip cats to get treatment in the clinic. Unfortunately 3 of them died despite my efforts, but 2 of them are aliveand now live with me. Even while I was struggling, I continued to save stray cats. I fed stray cats and sterilised them. The stray cats that have recovered, have nice garden full of beautiful fruit trees where they can run and play and they are free. I also take care of chronically ill, disabled and elderly cats who cannot live outside at home. I provide everything they need for the stray cats I have treated.... From 2014 to 2023, the estimated number of cats I have rescued and treated is 900. I have saved on average of 100 cats each year, with the exception of the year of my own treatment.
