Hello. I'm Effie , a cat rescuer in Greece.
My journey started mainly in 2020 when i began to feed colonies of stray cats around my area in Athens. Soon i realised that by only feeding stray cats i dont really help them and i need to start a neutering/spaying programm soon. That way the over population of stray cats can be controlled and their suffering can be minimised.
Since then i have manage to neuter/spay 168 stray female and male cats in area of Athens.
TNR is the most ethical way to help stray cats in countries like Greece where there are so many strays.
In the meantime more than 20+ kittens and cats have been adopted in lovely homes in Greece, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden through the page on FB and Instagram 😊
