Milkman is stray cat that I was called to at the end of April. No one else wanted to help him. I took him to the vet, where it was confirmed that he has FIP. He was in bad shape. He had fluid in his lungs and abdomen, and was anaemic. We started the GS Treatment on the 4th of May. Milkman unfortunately has to remain at the clinic for the duration of the FIP treatment. He also needs kidney medicine and special food.
I live in Turkey and have been working as an animal rescuer since 2020. In the beginning, I only used my own money to care for street cats and pay for sterilizations. Due to the rising costs and huge number of cats in need, I now finance part of the costs through donations. For this, I have made an Instagram account. I have rescued over 20 street cats in total and currently have 7 cats living with me. 3 more cats are still in the veterinary clinic for treatment.
