Due to his condition severity ampicilin/sulbactame+azithromycin antibiotics are used for 5 days. His response was not satisfying we switched to enrofloxacin its his 4th day and his condition is same. - N-acetyl cysteine has started, Mirtazapine has started due to low apetite. Immune modulators has started. If he won’t recover its better to run blood tests for dry fip suspicion.(In this kind of cases pneumonia, lethargy, non responsive to antibiotics sometimes dry fip can be the cause.)
- Antibiotics €40
- Immune modulators €35
-Probiotics €10
- nebulization €10x10=€100
- Chest XRAY €25x2=€50
-Jaw XRAY €25x2=€50
-His apetite is zero, he needs IV fluids €15x5=€75
-CBC €15x2 or 3= €30-45
IF he will get worse or won’t respond we might need biochemistry, ELISA FCOV test, antibiotic sensitivity tests etc… If we will need this tests I will make a new treatment entry.

Other | Got kicked his jaw. He has one teeth missing and he sometimes can’t put his tongue in. |
I’ve been rescuing for years and he is the most sad cat I’ve ever seen. I really can’t understand how people can be this devil!! His lungs are in a very bad condition he even can’t breathe. Also sometimes he cannot put his tongue in. I’m not sure does it requires surgery or not but he is not suitable for anesthesia right now because he even can’t breathe he couldn’t handle the anesthesia. So my plan is: starting treatment for pneumonia first, after he gets better I will focus on his jaw.
Our story started with Yasam. One day in my garden I saw a very sick cat alone and was waiting for death. Vets couldn’t understand the dry FIP until the ocular signs started. As a university student and with a very limited budget it was impossible for me to cover the whole treatment. I started the instagram page. And after rescuing Yasam from FIP. I got very happy and decided to rescue the other cats too.
After Yasam, we made numerous treatments and operations some of them are: diapraghm, pyometra and sterilization; parasite/viral/bacterial infections, cancer, more FIP treatment. open wound treatments etc…
I’ve been keep rescuing animals for more than a year and we are receiving very little support. Our current debt to vet clinics are around €2000 and they really don’t accept any more debt. My hands are tied now. You can see everything at yasam_animalrescue instagram page. Everything is transparent, Im sharing the bills all the time and sharing the before after things.
If you want to support us, you can directly pay to our vet clinic too. The cats I am taking care of needs support…
