Update: Süslü’s diaphragm was torn as a result of the kick. She was taken into surgery and her diaphragm was stitched. During the surgery, they noticed a mass in her lungs and since the cat was not in good condition at that moment, they completed the surgery immediately. She was treated at the vet for a while longer. She was preparing for cancer surgery when I presented an option that came to my mind to the vet. My thought was that in some diaphragm tears, tumor-like structures can form in the damaged organ; broken bones, edema, etc. I asked them to consider the possibility of confusing the tumor with something else and further examinations, tests and analyses were carried out on this idea. And indeed, it was true. Süslü did not have cancer and what was seen was actually a tiny broken bone. The vets were also surprised by this situation but in the end we were all happy. Süslü is currently still staying at the care farm. I paid for the tests but there is now a debt of 55 euros. After paying this debt, only a sponsorship fee of €25 per month is required for the cat to continue living there safely.

One day, I found Suslu, who was in my feeding area, on the ground, struggling to breathe and in shock. I immediately took her to the vet. Unfortunately, her diaphragm was ruptured after a person kicked her. She was going through a very risky process, fortunately, we were able to have diaphragm surgery performed, but during the surgery, doctors detected a large tumor in her lung. They had to finish the surgery immediately because her blood count was decreasing. Süslü is currently waiting for her surgical wounds to heal. She will fight cancer with her tiny body. After some recovery, cancer surgery needs to be performed immediately. Because the tumor has been around for a long time. And as this tumor grows, it will move closer to her heart. If the tumor is stuck to her heart, unfortunately they will have to put her to sleep during the surgery. Because if the tumor is not removed, she will suffer greatly. The doctor wants 550€ for this surgery. Even though she ruptured her diaphragm, she never stopped fighting. She still wants to live. Please hold her little paws and don't let go. 🙏🏼❤️🩹☘️
