He grew up in our neighborhood. He left to find a mate, and when he came back, his eye was in bad shape. We took him to the vet and found out he had an infection. He was treated for it, and now the infection is gone. At first, we weren’t sure if his eye could be saved, but the treatment is going well. Once the eye drops are finished, we’ll move on to the next stage of treatment.
Update: Unfortunately, news came from the neighbouring district on 31 August 2025. A cat was hit by a car. I thought it might be Gece, but I wanted to be sure and couldn't accept it right away. However, Gece no longer comes to the neighbourhood, and because of the deceased cat's markings and, most importantly, the fact that it was blind in one eye, I am certain it was Gece. Sadly, we have lost Gece.
