  • Observation of pregnant cats and support during birth
Working as a Rescuer

The Rescuer works as an auxiliary person for the association and takes in cats from emergency situations and initiates their care on behalf of the association. The rescuer is financially supported by the association.

The Rescuer enters into a non-contributory membership relationship and thus has a say in decisions made at the general meetings.

Obligations of the association towards the rescuer
  1. The Association shall present the Rescuer and the Rescuer's cats on the Internet platform and provide financial resources for the Rescuer by collecting donations.
  2. The association shall post newly adopted cats of the Rescuer on the internet platform promptly, at the latest within 48 hours after upload by the Rescuer, and inform the visitors of the platform about the further development, based on the information of the Rescuer.
  3. The association shall support the collection of donations through promotional campaigns.
  4. The money collected by the association should be transferred to the rescuer promptly, but at least every 2 weeks.
It should be noted that transfer fees may be deducted from the donation amount, which may vary depending on the location of the rescuer, currency and exchange rate.
  5. The association should ensure that the Rescuers use the funds received only for the rescue-activities and only support Rescuers who comply with this requirement in order not to endanger the non-profit status of the association and the legitimacy of the Rescuers associated with the association.
  6. The association shall support the Rescuer in finding and implementing solutions to problems that may arise.
  7. The association shall create the conditions to support Rescuers in the organization of placements and, if necessary, international transports of cats.
  8. The association must inform Rescuers about significant developments and changes within the association. In particular, changes to the guidelines for the housing and care of cats taken in must be communicated to the Rescuers in text form (by email).
  9. The association shall protect the rescuer's data from misuse by means of encryption, among other things.
Obligations of the association towards the rescuer
  1. The Rescuer agrees to use the funds of the Association exclusively for the care and accommodation of rescued cats and to provide evidence of all payments in this regard.
All payments should be made by bank transfer/card payment where possible so that bank transfer documents are available as proof of payment.
Where available, invoices (vet bills, invoices for purchases of food, litter and other necessary materials) should be submitted to the Association.
If payment can only be made in cash, photo documentation should be provided as an alternative.
  2. In the event of problems occurring during the money transfer, the Rescuer is obliged to inform the association as soon as possible so that errors can be rectified accordingly.
  3. The rescuer should inform the association promptly about newly adopted animals so that they can be presented on the internet platform and included in the fundraising.
  4. The Rescuer should, to the best of their knowledge, provide truthful information about the cats they have taken in and inform the association promptly of any (positive or negative) changes in the condition of a cat.
  5. The rescuer undertakes to comply with the Association's guidelines on the keeping and care of cats taken in and to inform the Association of any difficulties arising in this regard in order to work out solutions together.
  6. The rescuer is obligated to vaccinate, neuter, microchip and register all cats prior to placement.
